,, 193 A f'l5:.1-Qs. Construction I959 ITH the passage of a bond issue last spring, construction began this 'Fall on a one million dollar addition +o Mankato high school. Classes are expected fo be held in parfs of the building next fall. A new section to the east end of 'rlwe preseni' build- ing will be L shaped with I8 classrooms. Included in +l1ese will be additional personnel and guidance offices, a language room, biology laboratory, a Student Council orifice, laboratory 'for advanced science students and a business room with a display window facing the athletic field. Four rooms will be added to the second floor of +l1e voca+ional building. A sec+ion is also being added to the back of the present s+age. Dressing rooms and space for scenery will be included.
