Banquet Features Southern Atmosphere WANEE SERENADE gave a southern tcuch to the I956 prom and banquet testivities. Over-all chairman was John Mule rooney. Mary Fisher and Barbara Jackson headed prom and banquet decorations respectively. Kathy Stenberg and Roy Holm- berg were in charge ot tood and the seating chart. About 540 people attended the banquet. Master ot ceremonies was John Roth, iunior class president. Milce Naylon, senior class president and Pierre Meyer represented the senior class while Lynn Soppes- land and Sam l-lanson spolce tor the iuniors. Nadine Buclchaus and a quartet with Sandra Diamond, LaVonne Grogan, Marion l-lellevilc, and Ruth Otterson turnished musical entertainment. Deco- rations tor the prom were in yellow, green and blue. John Roth, Milce Naylon, Sandra Diamond and their dates led the grand march. Buddy Moorels band played. Thus MHS saw another suc- cesstul prom and banquet event come to a close. .
