Jf, omecomina 87 Homecoming Royalty Standing L to R: Justin Basart, Marcia Ott, Kim Payne, Todd Kimminau, Michelle Kinsey, David Pfiester. Sitting: Queen Dixie Wood and King Jon Roberts. The Mctnkalo High School Homecoming festivities began on Monday, Sept. 21, 1987. Each organization was responsible for hosting a Spirit Day throughout the week. On Thursday, the Student Council hosted a Cong Show. Later that evening, the annual Senior Volleyball match was played followed by the Homecoming Bonfire and Pep Rally at the City Park. Friday, the MHS band led the students downtown for a pep rally-parade. That even- ing at 7:00, the crowning ceremonies took place on the football field with Dixie Wood crowned Queen and Jon Roberts crowned King. The MHS football team then proceeded to whip North Central 50-0. Following the game, a dance was held in the school commons with Jay Diamond as D.J. MHS Spirit'• Car Senior tpeechet 22
