In the 3200 competition, Amy Thompson broke the previous record by running the race in a time of 14:45.59. Finally, Shannon Murray jumped a height of 5' 1 and placed second at the Regional meet and qualified for the State Track Meet in Wichita. Golf The golf team this year was a young one, but slowly progressed throughout the season. One young golfer, Darren Koester, was able to compete in the state golf meet in Peabody, where he did an excellent job for only a freshman.
