The Jr. High Vocal music classes prepare three concerts a year. One in fall, at Christmas and spring. All Jr. High stu- dents participate in these concerts. In addition to school con- certs, various special groups have sung for the Golden Years Club, several church services, the Modern Minerva Tea, and the Mother-Daughter salad supper at the Methodist church. The special groups practice in the early morning and after school to prepare their numbers for performances. Soloists and small ensembles will perform for a judge at the annual spring music night. The comments from a judge give a fresh approach to working on their solos for the future.
