M., the lights slowly dimmed the curtain opened, and eleven seniors emerged into the world of make-believe. The story opened in the home of Cynthia Darling. After the death of her parents she was forced to raise her younger brother and sisters. Because of financial and parental responsi- bilities, Cynthia and her fiance were unable to marry. Aunt Agatha, who lived with them, led an unendless search for another husband. The three brats themselves, Hank, Babs, and Tess tried every way possible to influence Agatha’s decision. Tess was in favor of rich Mr. Crabb: Hank and Rabs wanted cowboy Judd. This resulted in an enjoyable farce comedy. 30
