Biology, Counselor In the fall of 1964, the face of Mr. Billy Connor, the new superintendent of the Mankato Public Schools, was among the unfamiliar ones seen about MHS. Mr, Connor, who came to Mankato from Florence Kansas, also took over the duties of the grade school principal and much of his time was spent in the grade school build- ing. Under his watchful eye, the constru- ction on the new addition has progressed rapidly. Mr. Paul Roberts returned this year as the active high school principal. In addition to all his responsibilities as principal, Mr. Roberts was an effective counselor to students and taught biology. Mrs. Zeta Waldron was the busy secre- tary in the business office this year. Her friendly nature as she went about her many duties added warmth to our office. 5
