Eighteen girlsre- ceived their black and white ribbons at the pledge dinner. In November they thought they had some strangers in their midst, but 'twas only BC pledges dressed for 'Hell Week. The poor pledges really got a workout that week with missions, too. The day finally came when there were no pledges--much to the members' dismay--as they were formally initiated at JoAnn Shay's home. After decorating the school for Christmas, a progressive dinner and carolsinging ended the holiday season in proper form. The Winter Wonderland dance given in January was a consolation to some of the girls for having lost their pledges. For Valentine's Day napkins were decorated and sent to local hospitals and a tea was given for the teachers. More napkins were decorated and sent at Easter. The proceeds from a cake sale given second semester financed the senior farewell dinner-dance given in honor of the graduating seniors. Sponsors 1 ' - . X MISS MAIER MRS EKEN Officers S.
