MOUNT PLEASANT-I 5 MANISTEE-0 Mount Pleasant proved they were tops in the conference by downing the Blue 84 Gold 15-0. Again the Chippewas played hetter the second half. The defense tightened, and the offense clicked to make it an interesting hall game. Mt. Pleasant could not penetrate the Chippewa 30 yard line during the whole second half. CADILLAC-0 MANISTEE-0 Manistee completely outplayed the Cadillac eleven on all accounts but the game ended in a tie. 0-0. The Chippewas made 159 yards rush- ing and completed nine out of 12 passes. Again the Chippewas displayed a deadly defense, keep- ing the Vikings deep in their own territory for the greater part of the evening. BIG CHIPS x if I' at 'SIN A 2 5 A An . The Chippewas suffered a mid-season let-down and the Trojans rolled up a 25-7 victory. Manistee's tally came in the fourth quarter on a pass over center.

The Chippewas displayed sharp downfield blocking and a fast charging' defense.
