'X PAUL A symbol for all to remember. Most boys under the same physi- cal handicaps as Paul would have never attempted to participate in athletics. We have marvelled at your courage and congratulate one fine young man for making the accomplishments that you have made, Manilla has been better by your example both on and off the athletics courts. PAUL PHIL Headlines in papers have not flashed Phil s name for great offensive or defensive accom plishments but because of efforts on his part in providing tough practice sessions others were able to prepare to accomplish the headlines. Your ability to be loyal demonstrates character of which all are proud. THIS IS THE 1958-59 RUSH COUNTY BASEBALL CHAMPS. THE TEAM HAS HAD A VERY GOOD RECORD THE LAST TWO YEARS, AND THEY ACCOMPLISHED THE FEAT THIS YEAR, THE TEAM HAD A RECORD OF 7-3 AND LOST ONLY ONE GAME IN THE SUMMER LEAGUE, THE TEAM CON- SISTED OF 5 SENIORS, 4 JUNIORS, 4 SOPHOMORES, AND 1 FRESHMAN.
