S. 1943 In a few short years society will be listing you as a success or a failure, may you be high on the success list. What will determine your listing? Four influences will determine what happens to youg all four have been present most of your lives and will continue in the future. One is your home. You have felt the importance of that contribution enough that you have dedicated this book to your parents Parents take on varying aspects of influence at different periods of our lives, at eighteen it is normal to question Dad's mentality and then about twenty three we wonder how he learned so much in five short years. Second is your church. It is a natural thing to become active in your local churchg may this influence always be a part of your life. Third is the school. My sincere hope is that your school has equipped you, thus far, to be able to compete with others of your age and, as all of you know, I want you to acquire all the formal education it is possible for you to do within mental and economic limits. Fourth influence is you. All three of the above influences are helpless unless you are a good influence on you. Be your best is my sincere wish to each of you and may our assocations together be remembered pleasantly and one that will grow in the years ahead.
