The Class of I958 is indeed fortunate to be graduating in a geo-physical year studded with scientific advances that will change our entire pattern of life. Horizons contemplated but not expected are now ci reality. Challenges never dreamed of are now before you. It is sincerely hoped that the twelve years that you have spent in our schools will aid you in meeting these new challenges. II have known most of you personally and, therefore, feel a personal satisfaction in seeing you graduate from Manheim Central. On behalf of my co-workers, I wish you every success in the future. It is our hope that the education you have re- ceived will, in some small way, aid you in attaining whatever success you seek in life. ROBERT A. WEITZEL ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL The class of I958 set a record when last September IIO stu- dents entered the senior class of Manheim Central High School, and it should also set a record as being the first class in the history of the school to have more than IOO graduates. Upon graduation many members of the class will conclude their formal education, while many others, and we trust a larger percentage than ever, will continue in higher institutions of learning. In whichever group you will be, may I urge you to do your best as you are confronted with life's ever increasing problems. The degree to which you meet the challenges that face you after graduation will determine to what extent society will profit because of your efforts. May I congratulate the staff for the preparation of another fine yearbook and the entire Class of 1958 for their achieve- ments so far and wish all of you the greatest success in the future. D. W.
