HDJIUIU me on As each Annual is published year after year, the members of the sponsoring class, and more espetially the Yearbook Staff, are presented with a challenge to equal and, it possible, surpass the finished product of their predecessors. l.ife after graduation presents the same challenge. You will constantly be offered opportunities to make your contribution to society and thereby surpass the achievements of those who have gone before you. The degree of your success in meeting this chals lenge will determine to what extent your community, your country, and the entire world will be a better place in which to live. Your Staff has met its chal- lenge, May the entire member- ship of the Class of 1957 do as well. l should like to congratu- late the members of your Class on their achievements so far and wish all of you the greatest suc- cess in the future. As the years have passed, those differences now seem small and unimportant. This is how it should be. After twelve years of worl-4 and play, each of you has reatlied a point in life where de- tisions will lac' more or less up to you.
