alent, any inborn ability or adeptitude, makes each Manhattanville student more unique. For everyone there is some special ability that he she can do particularly well. Talents here at Manhattanville are quite diverse. They range from creating works of art to creating works of literature, from throwing parties to throwing curve balls, and from leading club meetings to leading roles on stage. This, of course, is not the end of the list; Manhattanville is gifted with many talented musicians, dancers, and athletes. Sometimes, however, our talents are not so obvious. It is a talent to be able to quickly memorize notes for an exam, for example. It’s also a talent to be able to comfort someone else in times of need. We can appreciate the fact that everyone is unique. Through sharing our many talents, we learn more about ourselves, as well as those around us. Genevieve M. Lopez
