History Of Class Of ' I On September 6, 1947, a group of giggling girls and bashful boys entered this noble institution with the thought of gaining more knowledge! !??? -First, came the dreaded thought of initiation. We came dressed in various costumes and with red faces fred with paint that isJ, After this warm wel- come we became part of the M. H. S. student body, Our Freshman class officers Were: President, Don Campbellg Vice President, Carolyn McCreag Sec- retary 8a Treasurer, Shirley Pauly Advisor, Coach La Buff. We were very proud to have Don Campbell as a Freshman Quarterback on our championship foot- ball team. P. S. We worked hard on Jun- ior Prom and it was beautifully decorated in pastel colors in a Spring Garden theme. The Grand March was led by Don Campbell and Vee Clarke, Music was by Skalitzky's orchestra.
