Comm. 3, Buqnnes linger Hs memories UF... A ship has docked, we...file into a new land . Seniorsall, we have come to our iourney's end . Our years in MHS are gone, now we have to say goodby to our Ship of Fate. At times it was roughsailing, then the current would catch us and carry us a- long inagay, mad, race. ltisn'teasy now, to leave our school. We've tried to take it lightly--we've joked about the food down in the galley, teased the sophomores, and griped about tests. But all the while we knew it would hurt to leave dear MHS. If we go up on the deck of our ship and look back, our path of white bubbles shows the way we've come. 'Way back there in the distance is the first lapof the voyage. Pat, Kaye, Sharon, Don, and Mary Lee helped us along our charted course. Our first big school dance, Sweethearts, our school song, catering to the senior's whims--these we will re- member. Clearer now is the spray left in the wake of the next lap. Thoughts of Green Val- ley, the CKL football championship, and the Junior-Senior banquet and dance char- tered by Terry, Kaye, Janet, Joe, Mary Lee, and Marlene, crowd our Junior log- book. The last time out, our frigate was manned by Davey, Roddy, Marlene, Terry, Tony, Pat, and Marian. The loyalsupportersofour football team elected Queen Natalie and King Roddy to reign at the Pigskin, all our dramatic ventures were successful--why, the whole crew got into the act this last time. The last time. We've said it again and again this year. As we look back into the bubbles, we find them full of ioy and pleasure . Turning the other way, there are no signposts, and few beacons lightour way. We venture into our new world with hope, faith, and trust in the future, and always memories of our days in MHS.
