The school has broadened rts courses to make us mentally
and physrcally frt for the postwar world The physrcal educa
tron department has a more strenuous program planned for
physrcal frtness and courses such as scrence and mathematrcs
are berng stressed But the arts and fundamentals have not
been slrghted as rt rs realrzed that every student must have a
wrde and varred cultural background
The students of Manhattan Hrgh School gratefully thank the
admrnrstratron for therr untrrrng efforts and for vrorkrng for
the best rnterests of the school and of the students But most
