eat qdlftgl R SHOULD I say Graduating Class of '45. We've had a good time this year, haven't we? I've always looked forward to High School. It al- ways seemed the top. Remember how we looked across the court last year and positively yearned to be on our way? Remember how we gazed in admiration at the high school kids, and gawked at the gawdy splendor of the basket ball and football letter jackets? We used to cheer with all our might at the foot- ball and basketball games, but the teams never seemed, really, to be our own. We knew kids in high school and we always spoke to them, but they really werent our friends Not our buddre buddres Just acquaintances Of course we had classes rn senior high too well anyway gym and chorus The grrls among us thought a lot about the lrp stick they could wear when they were rn high s hool And about the proms they could go to and the heroes they could go out with And the boys they thought about touchdowns and the last mrnute goals that wrn games and they thought about the Queens they would escort to the parties Ind we all thought our own thoughts of presr dents and secretaries and elections and put our elves into the prize positions of course time pa sed and rt was May 42 and graduated on into the land of dreams And the we were One member of our class Mary Jane Vance ex pressed rt this way HIS SOPHOMORE gang of 43 Was the best that there wrll ever Miss Rude the sponsor of the class Drd very well with this brg mass Of one hundred srxty five grrls and boys Who all are learning the art of poise Richard Cederberg the president Rergned over the Sophomore regrment Wrth Ray Thompson rn this group As vrce president of the troup Ruth Whitnah with pleasure Took sophomore dues as secretary-treasurer' For this class party, prime, A time of gayness and cheer sublime. IRST CAME football and you can bet Such boys as they are hard to get Who helped the Indians win each game, And brought eight sophomores into fame. Next came basketball in sports, In which Ted Grimes gave good reports, And any one who saw him play Will sure admit he did o. k. OME SOPHS did in the chorus sing And how they made the rafters ring' They were rn other musical events Whrch brought many beautiful moments When the H1 Y G R play was on Six sophomores from the class were gone In this performance they drd their best And as a result a great success ND LAST but surely not the least The sophs were servers at the feast Of the Senior Junior and the Junior Senior Where they acted on their best demeanor They will be Seniors in 45 So keep your eyes on that Sophomore hrve Well we belong novt Were part of the crowd How do you like rt'P 11468728 li aft Z SOPHOMORE CLASS IDENTIFICATION Richard Cederhurg Pre rdent Ray Thompson Vue lr: rdtnt Ruth Whrtnrh Secretary Tren urer 'IOP PANPI Third Rows Dowmng Blecha Cleaunger Dahl Drrpr ru Drcken Dalhnyqr Dorf Ba tom Cuddy Coffman Barber Srcond Row Cooper Barclay hrsenhut Carl 01 Dr-Young bdvsard Bowman Brad trett Baldfrrson Baht ck Brad haw Anderson hrs!
