flaefz gfep S SCHOOL opened last fall one hundred and eighty-eight juniors enrolled, twenty-six few- er than last year's enrollment Thev elected as their class officers John Bascom, president, Carol1ne Peme, vice plesldent, Ruth Fenton, secre tary treasu1er, and they elected Louis Otto and Ruth Hodgson to the Student Counc1l There were thlrty six Jumors who received schol arshlp awards for the work done dur1ng their sophomore year The H1 Y had three JUYIIOIS on ltS cab1net this year, B111 Hofsess, John Bascom and Dan Johnson The Junior glrls on the Girl Reserve cab1net were Joan Harper, Patty Fairman, and Betty McClung In the first dramatxc productlon of the year, the H1 X G R Play June Mad the Junlors were well lepresented by several young dramatlsts Thcv were Glorla GIVQHS, Shelton Marlow, Helen Hoover, Barbara Rogers, Bill Trekell Helen Otto Roy Drown, and Joan Aldous The Junlors scored an outstanding dramatic hit with their annual play Thls year they gave a three act comedy New Fires, and it was acclaimed a hit The cast included Jeanne Blanchard, LOUISE Teeter, Catherine Gundy, Carollne Peme, Betty McClung, Darlene Knauer, Joan Haylett Lyelle Wohlberg Mlrlam Hobbs Bill Aubel Don Paus ...gut not 'niche Z-jet. tian, Harris Ramsour, Keith Grandfield, Blaine Englund and Dick McIntyre.
