It was founded primarily to promote firm bonds of union and good fellowship among those students whose homes are in the Albany district, and to spread the name and fame of Alma Blatei in that locality. The success attained in that regard is evinced in the support given to all Manhattan activities held there, and in the success enjoyed throughout the clubls entire social program. To every Manhattan request the club has responded to the full extent of its capabilities, and has done its best to brin ' to realization the ideals of its founders As one of the pioneers of the club idea in Manhattan, the Albans Club has assisted in the opening of a broad and entirelv new field of undergraduate life. The founders of tl1e club. their work finished and their preparations for life completed, have passed out into the world Others remain to take up tl1e work where thev left off and to carrv out the high ideals which those pioneers established. The work will go on and as it progresses so will be widespread the glory ol' Albam and the fame of Manhattan Ona lluudrcd Eiglzly-.rim - P: my .50 U ra Y ' 'x,, - fr-'-xpfxnvf-A 'J ZXJAQJ4- fl
