PALAU CRUSADE HITS HEART Luis Palau wants to introduce people to a per- sonal relationship with Christ, bring unity to all Christians and see young Christians serve Christ fulltime. This is why he brought his “Heart of America’’ campaign to Manhattan. Palau wanted to reach the college students, the military, and the farmers. Manhattan provided him that opportunity. He believes that today’s students have an image of a perfect body, but not a perfect soul. The crusade gave stu- dents the opportunity to balance their lifes- tyle. During the crusade, many people gave their life to Christ. It was an excellent opportunity for Christian students to share their faith with oth- ers. MCC students were involved in the cru- sade in many ways. Some sang in the choir and others worked as ushers and counselors. All those who played an active part in the crusade felt the blessings they received made the work worthwhile. are ie se OR ath “Where's the food?’, asks Doug and Luis Palau prays that more might come Todd forward to give their lives to Christ. Sheila Walsh performs a mini concert for those attending the MCC students and faculty. Ed Wolfe, Virgil Warren, David Warren, and crusade. Margaret Moore participate in a small ensemble accompanying the choir.
