PRESIDENT THOMAS H. JOHNSON, whose gteat Christian character, faith and perseverance, have guided MBC to its present position, Manhattan Bible College, successor to the Christian Workers’ College and Eugene Bibic University, was originally founded in Manhattan in 1927. This marks the twenty-fourth year of successful endeavor in the teaching and application of the New Testament. The college has graduated 187 students, thoroughly furnished unto good works. This June, twelve more students will complete their training here, Seven of this number are candi- dates forthe A. B.degree. The Alumni, Officers, Faculty and Students are justifiably proud of the distinctive progress made by the college during those years when depression, war and unsettled conditions rendered each new step increasingly difficult. While as a fully accredited Bible College MBC stands triumphantly upon herown merits, proclaiming the Good News, she earnestly solicits the prayers andthe material aid ofall those who love the name Jesus.
