Our :F class spirit worked like a clock throughout the yearg but 'our . importance wasn't fully realized until March 7, when we march- i ed out of chapel and went to Pa and Ma Winchester's, where It cars and trucks were waiting to take up to Granite. Everyone Q envies the privilege of being a Senior. We don't like to boast but + we are rather proud of several of our members. The majority of :F the basket ball players were members of our class, while Lloyd :P Patterson won a year's scholarship in A. Sz M., at Stillwater and -. Now this is not a secret That I'm a-telling you You know the May Day festival And Graduation Day. Are days when spirits seem so high And everybody's gay. But just before this day of days There's a day of agitation And this sad time by all is called The days of 'xaminationsn Now this old time is not so hard If you've studied all the year But if ycu haven't you are sure To shed a great big tear. This time is now preceded by Some awful strenuous work They don't throw books or 'racers And never, never shirk. My ,they work so awfully hard Just like abloomin' Turk For they see the 'xamination As a pirate with a dirk. They moan and sigh and carry on Just like a dying calf But when they do not take the things They sure know how to laugh We study 'bout old Socrates And all about creation For they'll sure ask us everything On those old 'xaminations. So students you just take my word And always study hard. Though this may sound to you absurd No F's will be upon your card. Just work it long' and keep in trim. Don't follow inclinations.
