Sponsor Model United Nations Sponsor Senior Sponsor In the English Department each student is helped to improve commun- ication skills and to develop the ability to understand the writings of outstand- ing authors and poets. Included in the speech class are public speaking, in- terpretive reading, and group discussion. In dramatics class two one-act plays are produced. The foreign language classes are designed to give students an understand- ing of the grammar literature of the language and to acquaint them with life in other countries. MARILYN BASS A. B. Each student is coached to play his best and to show good sportsmanship. The girls have field hockey, speedball, basketball, softball, track, and other sports for which any girl may try out.
