The Mandan Braves with only two returning lettermen, surprised the experts and went on to a very successful season. lncluded in their laurels were the capturing of the Christmas Tourney at Bismarck and going on to a perfect season against Western Con- ference competition on our home court. The Braves started out slow, losing four out of their first five games, but then they caught fire and went on to win eleven out of their next fourteen games. Unfortunately the Braves cooled off before they reached the divisional tournaments, and this resulted in their being forced out of the tourney in three games.
