ROW THREE: Shyrla Wachsman, Marian Zent, Georgia Wetzstein, Mary Pfenning. Lullandjrfwll Quill and Scroll is the only honorary society to which Mandan High School be- longs. The new members admitted this year were: David Wise, Maureen Steigman, Gerry Renschler, Susan Wheeler, Merilynn Livdahl, Shyrla Wachsman, and Georgia Wetzstein. To be eligible for Quill and Scroll, a student must meet the following qualifica- tions: l. Be in the upper one-third of his class in scholastic rating at the time of election. 2. Have had at least two years of experience on either the school paper staff or the school yearbook staff. 3. Be a iunior or senior. 4. Have done superior work in writing, editing. 5. Be approved by the Executive Secretary of the Society. The organization's mair: event is the banquet which is served by the FHA every spring. .

The FHA serves the Quill and Scroll annual banquet and also a tea for the faculty and FHA mothers. Miss Nordick, home economics instructor, is the advisor of the organization.
