GRADUATION ISSUE OUR CLASS ADVISER mr-. Cjlzarfes :Quinn g.,p,0n,lwJl?! i Our four years at West have passed and gradua- tion day is here. This is the opportune time for the members of the Class of 1949 to express their heart- felt thanks and sincere appreciation to one who, by untiring efforts, has endeavored to guide our class wisely. Mr. Charles J. Quinn, our class adviser, attended West High School and St. Anselm's College. In 1942 he studied aeronautics at Northeastern University. A member of the Marine Air Corps, he was a dive- bomber pilot overseasg he then returned to this coun- try as a combat instructor. Before returning to West as a history teacher in 1947, Mr. Quinn taught in Pinkerton Academy at Derry. Having been active in sports in school and in the service, he is now basket- ball coach and assistant football coach here at West. We all feel that Mr. Charles Quinn has done his utmost for us and made our every class activity both enjoyable and successful. PAGE SEVEN
