Debbie and Lisa smilingly greet students at the cheerleaders' dance, Friday nights in the tri-borough area aren't always boring. Every once in a while, a group of people belong- ing to some organization at Manchester have a dance to raise money. For the students, a dance means eating, talking and listening to rnusic. In a word, it's fun!

Summer Tree Dave Enyart and Dave Huizing have a father to son chat. The war hits home over the death of a friend. Every- one remembers the horror of the Vietnam War. In November, 1979, the M.E.A. production of Summer Tree was performed in the Little Theater under the direction of Mr. DiCerbo. Dave Enyart portrayed a young man who was killed in the war and whose life was explained in flashbacks. This play was filled with deep emotions and real sensitivity. Manchester will always remember this moving production. Nancy Strathearn gets a little help from a friend - Mrs. Whittemore. - 93 Dave and Iohn philosophize on the aspects of war.
