Besides maintaining high grades, they must qualify in areas of leadership, char- acter and service as well. The PSYCHOLOGY CLUB, a rela- tively new but nevertheless a very interesting club, attracts students who may be interested in entering the fascinating field of psychology. Advisor, Mr. Phillips, leads discussions on the concepts of modern psychology in the world. Keep- ing physically fit is truly the in thing to do. The girls in the DIETXFITNESS CLUB watch what they eat and engage in exercise programs every week. You can always tell wher the Table Tennis Club is having a meeting! All of the members really enjoy playing and look forward to the different competitions that are held. Everyone agrees that it's a fun and interesting sport that anyone car become involved in! Winter Track Team: First Row: Ernie DeMarco, lane Berry, David Baran. Second Row: Carol Weise, Lora Deblasio, lanet Tilstra, Chris Van Cenderen, Monica Saya, Lisa Schmidt. How do you sum up the Student Council? lt's Valentine carnations, the morning announcements, the jukebox, singing Christmas carols, selling candy canes. lt's Manchester! Bravo to one of the few really active clubs in our school. The Girls Athletic Association was originally formed when girls were not given a fair chance to be involved in sports. Times have sure changed everywhere, and certainly at Manchester too. The club has various activities to provide funds to send girl athletes tc special camps to work on their specific sport skill. They also go or trips and to Broadway shows. Some of the members are participatf ing athletes at Manchester, others are involved in the fund raisers No matter which activity they are involved in, each member conf tributes to the success of the G.A.A. i Seniors: First Row: Treasurer- Debbie Manno, Monica Saya, President - Pat Poehler, Vice'President - Iackie Esposito.
