C.l.E., or Cooperative Industrial Education, is a system where students learn the basic concepts of industrial operations. The on-the-job training, which the participants gain, really makes the experience worthwhile. And this year, the CIE gang has added a few girls to its ranks. The Foreign Language Department of Manchester strives to have students appreciate and understand the foreign culture which they are studying. ln order to help the advanced students of language, Mr. Dattolo evaluates them and places them in a higher level of study. They involve students who are working in part time jobs. The students work in department stores and service out- lets. In distributive education, the classes are related mostly to the job, although the students learn to be competent in the classroom as well.
