The final product of months of hard work. Every Christmas season the students have the pleasure of hearing their classmates in the chorus and band herald in the Christmas season. For the final encore of their show, the chorus and band collaborated and presented the Hallelujah Chorus. Mr, Bender conducts his prized chorus.

Only time can tell, On Thanksgiving Day 1979, enthusiastic students showed up at Manchester for the annual football game against Hawthorne. As the game began a cannon boomed -and the crowd roared for this year Manchester was really hopeful for a victory. Would we finally make it this year? Alas, the goal dreamed by every football fan and team member was not attained. Although the guys came close to pulling off a miracle with a few remaining minutes, the clock won in the end. Manchester was defeated, 13-9. But there's always next year. Delicious turkey and other Thanksgiving traditions were enjoyed by the guests of honor and their hostesses, who prepared the food themselves. When asked if she enjoyed herself, one lively lady answered, lt was splendid.
