Defeat Juniors Senior Girls aturall ! ! l On November 6th. 1978. the Senior girls. under the expert coaching of Mr. Coleman and Mr. 0'Neill. challenged the Junior girls. under the coaching of Mr. McGarry. to a touch-foot- ball game. The Seniors held a shut-out score until the last minute of the game. when Junior Debbie Manno scored a touchdown. However. the Seniors held them at that and went on to win a I4 6 victory Senior scorers were Anne Dittamo and Mary Sellitti W? Ei- Kim Kennedys punting really helped the Senior team. The Senior grls are ecstatic after their first touch lu gets in on coaching a play Clow n The Semof Fheerleadefs Show great form- Quarterback Renee searches for a receiver. Manchester's largest chorus ever. prepares for their first number in their presentation to the school audi- ETICC. Mr. Jim Bender directs the choir during one of its three numbers. Christmas Concert Marked Tradition The 19th annual Christmas concert was held on December 14th. The concert began with the traditional entrance into the darkened audito- rium of the choir and chorus holding candles. The groups sang some traditional Christmas car- ols as well as some a little out of the ordinary Swingin' Jingle Bells. Also appearing in the concert were the Madri- gals and the Concert Band. Both groups per- formed well and continued getting everyone in the holiday spirit. This year's decorations for the Christmas con- cert were different than in years past. Usually a huge wreath encircled the stage but this year. gigantic candies wrapped in paper. took the wreath's place. No matter what the decorations or the music. the Christmas concert always pro- motes that special feeling only experienced at Christmas. such as The Twelve Days After Christmas and .f Mr. Steve Bender conducts the Concert'Band. The trumpet section of the band works hard to make their number a success,

Debbie Zeitlinger. Nancy Emker. Lilian Percarpio. Kim Kennedy. The pins and membership cards were issued by the school principal Robert Spreen These tokens represent one s acceptance into the proof of membership is hard work and study that makes it possible for the students to receive the highest award that may be given to the student body of Manchester Regional High School 3.25 or better.
