ur Goal Arrives - Hopefully New Horizons Are Set Four years have come and gone since we entered Manchester in 1975. We were labeled the Class of '79 and then it seemed as if our turn as Seniors would never come. The years went quickly and all too suddenly we are about to leave. As Freshmen we were three separate classes from different schools. Gradually as time went by. we were molded into one unit, We worked together. We had the traditional Freshman candy sale and a Sophomore movie and dinner night. lt seemed as if we had all the time in the world to raise money for our distant Senior year. Finally we became Juniors and Senior year looked closer. a reality. when we bought our school rings. Again we pulled together, literally this time, in our Almost Anything Goes . We even traded traditional roles in the Junior-Senior powder puff game with male cheerleaders and female football playersg but we returned to tradi- tion, losing the game 22-0. Finally our Senior year arrived and we were unprepared. Where had the time gone? It was only yesterday that we were asking directions to our classes and forgetting our locker combina- tions. To most of us, Senior year was our goal and we didn't look beyond. But, now we are leaving as a classg as individuals with unique memories and expectations. hu.. i
