Mike Haines, As in past years. the magazine drive remained the main fund-raising activity for thejunior class. During this time. the juniors attempted to raise enough money to cover the cost of their Senior year. They began actively planning for their prom by selecting its location. Some girls took part in the Powder Puff Football Game while their classmates cheered them on. Along with the traditional events. a new one occurred -4- two juniors. Terri Soukup and Bob Zollo were cho- sen. along with senior Lisa Marino. to appear on a quiz show on cable television. Although the team was defeated. they made a fine showing in representing our school. Gold, silver and palladium rings were pur- chased by a number of class members. The color- guard became a new experience and responsibil- ity forjunior Tracey Bal who was elected captain of her squad. When the Aurion went to print. rumors indi- cated a concert being planned for an additional fund raiser because of the low response in the paying of class dues. WP 5 'eh-1.....,..,i,, 5 .
