Carrie on radition The Girl's Athletic Association was originally formed because girls were not offered many opportunities in athletics. The club gave girls a chance to become involved in sports. Even though today girls are accepted in the sports field, the tradition of the G.A.A. still remains. The club offers its members opportunities to view Broadway plays go on weekend trips and other activities. The club also provides funds which are used to send girls to camps to work on their various sports skills. pn- Z'l4 G.A.A.
