'-Qu-ui 'QF Weighty Club The Weighlldting Club, under the direc- tion of Mr. Crossley, is designed to help interested students develop better physical fitness. The clubls 30 members include off-season athletes who wish to remain in good condition. Members Don't Show for Photo The Apathy Club is not a newcomer to Manchester. The club boasts the high- est membership of any other club in the school. Despite the large number of members, no one managed to show up to have his picture taken. The number of members is growing fast, but there are still a last few who refuse to join. The club's meetings are held everyday after school. Artistic Club The Art Club is a group of students who express themselves creatively, simulta- neously beautifying our school. The club constructs stage designs and fills the main lobby showcase with extraor- dinary artistic endeavors. Clubs With Foreign Flair At Mrs. Whittemore's German Club students enhance their knowledge of a :ulture older than our own. The pure German atmosphere brings these peo- ple together to plan trips, or to talk or simply have fun. This year s Student Councils goal is progress. The council by its endeavors is seeking student happiness. They hope to gain respect and recognition for the student body and members alike by their deeds. The council has meetings every other Tuesday where they plan events such as the student exchange day the stu- dent council week the asmblies dances and the bonfire. The most important project for this year is raising money to buy a new chain link fence for the foot- ball field.
