Concern and Enthusiasm Are Reflected in the Faces of Our Cheerleaders .. . Working almost five hours a week with the help of their advisor Miss Carol Thayer, the cheerleaders practice spirited cheers for var- sity games and pep rallies. In the fall they also have the opportunity to demonstrate their skill and to observe other girls at a cheerleading clinic held at UConn. The essen- tial ingredients which make up a good cheer- leader are pep and plenty of school spirit. Supported by an enthusiastic crowd, they urge our teams to ‘‘Go! Fight! Win!”
