In the Classroom Students Learn and Grow As closing doors echo through the halls, and teachers take familiar positions, classes begin. It is in the classroom that students and teachers meet to share their knowledge and to partake of new learning experiences. ln the language lab students perfect their conversational and vocal skills, while strange odors from the chemistry labs permeate the halls. In other rooms there are lively discus- sions on topics from Shakespeare to a world crisis, or a new mathematical theory. Creativity In Self Expression ls a Goal at MHS.. The day at MHS is not devoted entirely to classroom study. Students express themselves by applying their varied skills and talents. Tomorrow's homemakers and mechanics receive practical experience in voca- tional skills. In the art rooms students bring together creativity and the knowledge of fundamentals to pro- duce aesthetic works. The various assemblies and the welcome few minutes in the cafeteria are also a part ofthe school day. Each phase contributes to the growth of individuality in students.
