Good Leadership Is Our Greatest Asset . The office staffs at MHS are constantly trying to overcome the typical big school problem of being impersonal. Each class has a vice-principal who works with the class as a whole, while direct communication is made through guidance counselors. Every student has a guidance coun- selor who meets with him several times a year to help him to get the most he can out of high school and to make plans for the future. OUR SCHOOL DAY Manchester High School is more than a building, a mass of mortar and steelg it is a way of life, a daily succession of events. We have attempted to portray this life and spirit of MHS with the theme Our School Day. Beginning with the introduction as a brief summary of what will follow in the book, our format has been to place everything from classes to clubs to concerts in the order in which one would en- counter them during a typical day. We hope that our interpretation of Our School Day will be memorable and meaningful for all of you.
