1Q Underneath the electric stars, Barbara Palmer and Scott Larson begin to dance. Almost Paradise. Jason Minadakis and his date slow dance to the music of “Excaliber.” 5 dilten, Mines Paradise Lancers Make Memories Dancing beneath the stars, Lancers made memo- ries at the Homecoming Dance. The dance featured “Excaliber.’’ Kristin Benson, the band's lead singer, re- turned to her alma mater to provide the dance’s musical entertainment. Sophomore Amy Austin said, ‘The band was great, especially when they played ‘Shout!’” S.C.A. and National Art Honor Society members worked hard to portray the Homecoming Dance theme “Almost Paradise.” Stars made from tin foil were hung and crepe paper flow- ers were attached to tables and the walls. The Homecoming Queen and princesses were hon- ored with the traditional princeses’ dance. Keeping with the theme, they danced to ‘Almost Paradise.” Junior Jean Baltz said, ‘The dance was a lot of fun and a great end to Home- coming week-end.”
