TAKING A BREAK from dancing, Terri Farley and her date for the evening, John Gerenscer, relax for a moment. The annual Sadie Hawkins dance was held in February. Memior sponsored the dance, and put a lot of work into it. The cafeteria was decorated with outhouses on the wall, along with an old log cabin complete with rocking chairs on the front porch. Everyone arrived dressed in country styles: hitched up overalls and ragged skirts. Daisy Mae and Little Abner were chosen, and Ginger Argenbright and Billy Allsbrook took their “thrones”in front of their “Home, Sweet Home”. The band, “White Horse,” played top 40 hits, as well as a couple of good ole blue- grass tunes. Everybody had a fine time at the hoe-down. Sadie Hawkin 23
