We, the class of 1927, feel that here is the place and now is the time to express in no litt.le outward show of affection, our feeling for the institution which is sending us forth as graduates, tl1e faculty that has fought us a merry battle and the underclassmen whom we have found to be made of metal that the school will be proud to own a.s alumni when their turn comes to pass the great thresh- old of graduation. Allow us to look back upon you and say that we are leaving with regret. Before our eyes comes the image of four years of hard work made bearable by pleasure of splendid acquaintances. Our review reveals the fact that in order for us to reach this goal we have needed the sympathies of the underclassmen and the silent encouragement of our parents. These we have received and now We are making recognition of them. , To the underclassmen: continue to carry on the challenge of hard work in order that you may gain the much desired diploma of this institution. Do not, however, cheapen its significance by poor preparation. Make your diploma an emblem of work and success. Make it so much coveted that its receipt will be of supreme pleasure. A Six
