FRESHMAN INITIATION The annual Sunshine Freshman Initiation is an occasion eagerly awaited by the Seniors and dreaded by the Freshman girls. This year the theme of Different Nationalities was chosen. Senior girls and their Freshman sisters. who were costumed appropriately for the nation which they were to represent, met at the school early in the morning. The day was climaxed by a parade, supper on Main Street, and a movie. The tired Freshman girls and exhausted Senior girls both agreed it was fun------but never again! We’re from different countries-- As different as can be. But, oh, you mighty Seniors. We all bow down to thee! Initiates B. Leedy, M. Ihnen, J. Hen- drix, N. Shanahan, C. Sutton and A. Ulrey present themselves for inspec- tion. 21
