Manchester was launched September 3, 1957. We have nearly completed our initial cruise. It has been a good voy- age and all of you have been good shipmates. Many times this year, our Manchester has traveled uncharted waters. But your patience, cooperation, loyalty, and faith brought her through safely. To each and every one of you, I say, Well done.
