We cannot loiter in the halls, Ur talk when on the stairsg XVe ean't look out the window And we must not mark the chairs. XVhispering is an awful Crime- Laughing-just as bad: XYe should follow their example And always look quite sad. And when they find us chewing' gum, Uh Horrors!-XYl1at a crisis!!! They take our names and whack two off, And severely do ehastise us. XVhen canned from class, the teachers Treat us with very great contempt: That also takes two more off, and From exams we're not exempt. And a great hig legal holiday XVe dare not celebrate, But have to study just the same, tltherwiser-we met our fate. XYe ean't assemhle on the steps XVhere so many feet have trod, And never must we spoil the grass By walking on the sod. And when some stildent doth display 'l'lie fart that he is Clever.
