Miss Mary Mocnik was elected nurse of the year, and MJC received recognition as the most active group in the state and the first district in the state to attain IOOCXQ membership. Continuing to work for the community and the college, the service projects of the nurses this year were continuation ot the annual Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets to a needy family, presentation ot toys to the Newtown Day Nursery, Diabetes Detection and Cancer Society drives. and the social attair tor the college, the l-typo Hop.
