Cathy Spencer, Beth Prillaman, and Debby Spencer are volunteer Candy Stripers. Parc Med Club Medicine Holds Club Interest Para Medical Club specializes in informing interested students of careers and opportunities in the medical profession. Guest speakers were invited to talk about various professions. Members donated their time to working at the hospital as Candy Stripers. Future Secretaries Stenographers Gain Practice Future Secretaries of America is a select club sponsored by the National Secretaries Association. lt met once a month for members especially interested in secre- tarial careers. Each year, the National Secretar- ies Association awards one girl a scholarship to Manatee junior College. Members also received a club magazine from the national headquarters in Kansas City. The sole purpose of the club is the publication of the MHS literary magazine, the Manatee Masterpieces. Many long hours on Special Enrichment Days and after school were put in towards its final printing.
