Folk Music Club Folk Members En jo Music Each Enrichment Day members of the Folk Music Club brought together their interest and knowledge of popular folk-rock music. Students gave reports and listened to the music of their favorite performers. In December, the club held a car wash in order to raise .funds for the Peace Corps, while their biggest activity was the annual Folk-Rock concert held each spring. 2 Terri Ethridge shows Patti Stephens her impression of Edith Ann. FTA Members Enjo Mini Courses Mr. james Logan and Rev. Evangeles Porter were invited to teach mini courses to FTA members. These courses concerned black history and religion and were held on two con- secutive Special Enrichment h ays. The activity schedule of FTA in- cluded a Do Your Own Thing Day when the members gave their various talents and impressions. The club also sponsored a bake sale to raise money for the club. Under the direction of Mrs. Dorothy Woodward, the orchestra did a fantastic job of presenting the musical score for HELLO, DOLLY! The musicians practiced constantly to make the production come alive. The orchestra's other activities included a trip to the University of Southern Mississippi, a field trip to Sarasota to hear a S135,000 pipe organ demonstration, and an electronic music session. 61
