CBE I CBE I Helps Red Cross Needy families of the community received Christmas and Thanksgiving baskets from CBE I members. The club also sold from Tom Watts kits during November and December. Members contributed their time and efforts on Red Cross projects during times of crisis. They also worked on an Easter project. A regular activity of CBE I is operating the school stores before school and during fourth period. After completing these projects, members realized they too had benefitted by service to others. Diversified Cooperative Training DCT Offers job Varieties DCT finds jobs for students who wish to enter into fields different from that of office work or retail sales. The students choose their jobs with the hope of finding a suitable vocation. The jobs ranged from a mason to an assistant at the Small Animal Hospital. Besides working, DCT members entered contests at a District Convention held in Sarasota. Gwen Waiter took first place in ex- temporaneous speaking and traveled to Miami to compete at the first annual Regional Convention. OFFICERS President ...................
