Civitans-Civinettes Civitans Help Boy's Ranch The junior Civitans and Civinettes, a coed branch of the Senior Civitan Club, donated the funds from its fruitcake and mixed-nut sales to the Florida Boys' Ranch and Girls' Villa. They also awarded a S100 scholarship to a Manatee High School Senior. Each week, the MHS Civitans sent two members to the Senior Civitan's Luncheon where the students observed the sponsoring club in action OFFICERS President .................... ........ Jr. Exchonge lr. Exchange Paints Building Besides the regular duty of raising the flag in the morning, the Exchange was involved in many other activities. The club began the year with a contribution to the community when they painted the Headstart building. During homecoming week they held a unique pickle-eating contest and were in charge of the bonfire. Both helped to boost the morale of the team and students. Also they sold pizza at the fair as a money-making project. The Exchange's participation in activities displayed their school spirit. OFFICERS President ............. ........
